Hello again everyone,
This week I had the great pleasure of playing with the new Kaisercraft Telegraph road papers.
This paper line is really beautiful and versatile filled with vintage images and both soft and bold prints - and I just love it!
So without further ado here is what I came up with this week.
Here is a little before of the clock I found on special for under $5 and I knew that I could work a bit of magic with it. (so don't tell my husband but I actually picked up 4 of these beauties)
Anyway back to the after........ This gorgeous bird is from the collectables and is sitting on a little nest that I made out of burlap and raffia, the small browney roses are more of the fimo ones I made/burned and the wooden heart piece in the background is also from Kaisercraft called fancy hearts.
The large blue flower below is a leftover from my altered canvas and is made with the Tim Holtz Tattered pinecone die and coredinations paper, and the rest are a mix of Prima and I am Roses
Ive adhered the "wood" paper (backside of Memo) to the clock using modpodge and also used this as a sealer using a foam brush (which gave it a cool woodish texture too) This is also edged with Weathered wood Distress ink which im convinced was made for this paper:)
To color the seam binding I used Wendys trick of distress ink and water untill it matched the paper line.
Here is the other side view, I have punched out some more of the paper line using a Martha Stewart punch and inked sides and back with Bundled Sage Distress ink.
And a top View
To top it all of I mixed some perfect pearls with water and gave everything a brush with Gesso and Pearl glimmer!
And thats me for this week, let me know what you think!
